My gosh! Ok, for those of you who don't live in Utah - especially the northern Wasatch Front - you've missed out on one heck of a winter! The funny thing about it is that Dean and I have complained every winter that we never get any snow. Well....we are now biting our tongues this year as up until this last weekend we were getting snow storms about every other day! Our snow has been piled up so high that we could barely see over it to back out of our driveway. We're really glad that we've received all this snow because we all know that the water will be flowing a plenty in the spring and summer.
Anywho, I had high hopes to update this blog more than once every month or so but somehow life gets in the way. So far 2008 has been a great year as we've celebrated birthdays, games, and parties with our families but boy are we looking forward to the summer and our camping trips.
Our beautiful girl is 15 months old and growing up so fast! She loves to climb on everything, throw toys, shoes and anything else she can get her hands on, down the stairs. She finally had her first illness diagnosed yesterday - ear infections in both ears. We've been so blessed that she's been so darn healthy! Needless to say, Dean and I are ready to have our happy baby back...lack of sleep and a cranky, sick, molar teeth cutting baby just DON'T go together too well.
On a professional note, Dean and I are busy as ever with work. Dean has a project (that I'll also be working from home) in St. George in a week or so and then the last weekend of February I will be heading out to Quantico, VA (flying into Washington, DC) for a week-long training. If there's one thing I can say about my job, it has afforded me some great training and travel opportunities that I would never get if I were footin' the bill.
